Sodium Cantharidinate Vitamin B6 Injection

Function and Efficacy

This product is an anti-tumor injection prepared by sodium cantharidinate and vitamin B6. Its pharmacological effects are as follows: inhibiting the synthesis of tumor cell proteins and nucleic acids, then affecting the biosynthesis of RNA and DNA, and finally inhibiting the generation and division of cancer cells; it can reduce the activity of cAMP phosphodiesterase in tumor cells, increase the activity of catalase, improve cell energy metabolism, and reduce the level of cancer toxins; it can directly inhibit the synthesis of DNA and RNA in cancer cells and the infiltration of precursors, change the morphology and function of cancer cells, and directly kill cancer cells. It has no inhibitory effect on bone marrow cells and can increase white blood cells. 2. Toxicology: The LD50 of this product for intravenous injection in mice is 4.42mg/kg (4.04~4.84mg/kg); the LD50 of intraperitoneal injection in mice is 4.59mg/kg (4.10~5.13mg/kg). This product is mildly irritating to rabbit eyes, has no irritating effect on rabbit and mouse muscles, and has no in vitro hemolytic reaction. [Pharmacokinetics] Experiments show that when mice are orally administered 1 mg/kg of 3H-cantharidin sodium, the drug is quickly and completely absorbed from the digestive tract, and only a trace amount of radioactivity can be detected after 24 hours; after oral and intravenous administration, the radioactivity is highest in the bladder and bile, followed by the kidney, liver, heart, lung and stomach. Most of the drug is excreted in the urine.
