Function and Efficacy
It has the effect of enhancing immune function. It can increase the number of plaque-forming cells in mice with "yin deficiency" caused by triiodothyronine (T3), and increase the serum lectin level in mice with "yin deficiency" caused by T3. This product can also increase the lymphocyte transformation rate of rabbits with diabetes model caused by alloxan. It has the effect of lowering blood sugar. It can lower the blood sugar level of mice; it can lower the blood sugar level of rabbits with hyperglycemia caused by alloxan. It can also reduce the abnormally elevated plasma cAMP content in mice with "yin deficiency" caused by T3, and increase the liver glycogen content. It has the effect of lowering triglycerides. It can lower the serum triglycerides of rabbits with hyperlipidemia, but the effect on cholesterol is not obvious.
