This product is an organic mercury disinfectant preservative. After the mercury ions dissociate, they combine with proteins to kill bacteria, but are ineffective against bacterial spores. This product has a weak preservative effect and is not easy to penetrate intact skin. However, it has less irritation to the skin.

The main ingredient of this product is mercurochrome, and its chemical name is 2,7-dibromo-4-hydroxymercury fluorescent flavin disodium salt.

This product is a red fluorescent liquid.

Suitable for disinfection of superficial wounds and skin injuries.

For external use, apply a small amount of the product to the wound with cotton wool, 2-3 times a day.
