Bifonazole cream

Function and Efficacy

This product is an imidazole antifungal drug with a broad spectrum of anti-dermatophytes, yeasts, filamentous fungi and dimorphic fungi, and has strong antibacterial activity. It is also effective against Malassezia furfur and Gram-positive cocci. This drug has a good effect on experimental dermatophytosis in animals. Like other imidazole drugs, this product has an inhibitory effect on C14-demethylation, preventing it from forming ergosterol, and can also reduce the production of mevalonic acid so that it cannot form squalene, thereby affecting the synthesis of fungal ergosterol.
