Recombinant human growth hormone for injection

This product is a human growth hormone produced by genetically engineered mammalian cells. It can promote bone growth, increase myocardial contractility, promote protein synthesis, increase nitrogen storage in the body, increase fat oxidation and gluconeogenesis, improve nutrient conversion rate, regulate the immune system, and enhance immune defense capabilities.

Main ingredient: recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH). This product is produced by DNA recombination technology and is a protein composed of 191 amino acid residues. Excipients: glycine, mannitol

This product is white freeze-dried powder.

It is used for growth hormone deficiency in children and adults, Turner's syndrome, growth failure caused by chronic renal failure in children, hypermetabolic state (negative nitrogen balance) after surgery and trauma, burns, and sepsis.

Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, the dosage depends on the condition. Dwarfism: 0.6-0.8IU/kg per week, subcutaneous injection. Turner syndrome: 1.0IU/kg per week or 28IU per square meter of body surface, subcutaneous injection. Growth disorders caused by chronic renal insufficiency in children: 1.0IU/kg per week or 30IU per square meter of body surface, subcutaneous injection. Negative nitrogen balance: 4-8IU per day, for 7 days, subcutaneous injection. Burns: 0.3-0.6IU per day, for 4 weeks, subcutaneous injection. Sepsis: 0.3IU/kg per day. Growth hormone deficiency in adults: 0.25IU/kg per week, for 2-6 months.

Long-term injection in the same area can cause local fat atrophy and skin pigmentation. Excessive use of the drug can cause low potassium. Some patients may develop high blood sugar.

It is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women, tumor patients, diabetics, and patients with progressive intracranial injury.

Precautions for children: There is no significant difference between children and adults in the pharmacology, toxicology and pharmacokinetics of growth hormone, and it can be used safely according to body weight. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: There is no systematic clinical research on the use of growth hormone in the elderly.
