Function and Efficacy
The analgesic effect of acetaminophen in this product is produced by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system and blocking the impulse of pain nerve endings, which is related to the inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins or other substances that can make pain receptors sensitive; the antipyretic effect may be caused by the hypothalamic temperature regulation center to produce peripheral vasodilation, sweating and heat dissipation, which is related to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Cold soft capsules with small doses of caffeine act on the high center of the cerebral cortex to excite the mind and relieve fatigue. It can also cause cerebral vasoconstriction and relieve headaches caused by cerebral vasodilation. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that competitively blocks histamine (H1) receptors, relieves allergic symptoms, and resists M cholinergic receptors to dry the nasal mucosa.
Ingredients
Notopterygium root, ephedra, cassia twig, schizonepeta spicate, saposhnikovia root, angelica root, chuanxiong, calamus, kudzu root, mint, bitter almond, angelica root, scutellaria root, platycodon grandiflorum. Excipients include glycerin, vegetable oil, gelatin, beeswax, and food coloring.
