Acetaminophen solution

This product can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins and has antipyretic and analgesic effects.

The main ingredient is acetaminophen, whose chemical name is N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetamide. Its structural formula is: C8H9NO2151.16

This product is a light yellow clear liquid with a minty aroma and sweet taste.

It is used to treat fever caused by the common cold or influenza in children, and is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and dysmenorrhea.

Oral administration, use a measuring cup to measure and take the following dosage: Age (years) Weight (kg) Single dose (ml) Number of times a day 1-3 10-15 4-5 If high fever or pain persists, repeat the medication once every 4-6 hours, 24 7-9 22-27 7-9 No more than 4 times in 10-12 28-32 9-10

Occasionally, skin rash, urticaria, drug fever and granulocytopenia may occur. Long-term and large-scale use of the drug may lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.

It is contraindicated for patients with severe hepatic and renal impairment and those who are allergic to this product.

Long-term use of this product may cause liver damage in patients who use barbiturates (such as phenobarbital) or antispasmodics (such as belladonna). Taking this product together with chloramphenicol may enhance the toxicity of the latter. If used at the same time with other drugs, drug interactions may occur.
