Enoxaparin Sodium Injection

Active ingredient: Enoxaparin.

Prevent venous thrombotic disease (prevent venous thrombosis), especially embolism related to certain surgeries. Used in hemodialysis extracorporeal circulation to prevent thrombosis. Treat deep vein thrombosis. Treat acute unstable angina and non-Q wave myocardial infarction, used with aspirin.

For prevention of deep vein thrombosis, adult patients with high risk of thrombosis are given 40 mg 12 hours before surgery, followed by a subcutaneous injection of 40 mg every 24 hours. Patients with moderate risk of thrombosis are given 20 mg 2 hours before surgery, followed by a subcutaneous injection every 24 hours. The above course of treatment needs to be continued for 10-14 days or until the risk of thrombosis disappears. For the treatment of established venous thrombosis, 1 mg/kg body weight is administered subcutaneously every 12 hours for 10 days. A single dose of 1 mg/kg body weight is given before extracorporeal dialysis. The above dose is sufficient for a 4-hour dialysis course (unless a fibrin ring is formed). If the dialysis time needs to be extended, one-quarter of the above dose must be added every hour. For unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction, 1 mg/kg body weight is administered subcutaneously every 12 hours within 24 hours of onset, and continued for 6-8 days until clinical symptoms stabilize.

Thrombocytopenia, abnormal liver function, and occasional changes in transaminase and alkaline phosphatase.

Acute bacterial endocarditis, massive bleeding, thrombocytopenia; active digestive system ulcers, stroke (except those caused by systemic embolism) and patients with bleeding tendency.
