Azelaic acid is a gentle exfoliant effective at treating acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and melasma. It possesses anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-keratinizing properties.
Azelaic acid is a skin disease prevention drug, mainly used for the treatment of acne, chloasma and skin melanin deposition.It is also an important organic synthesis intermediate, used in the plastic, rubber and other industries for the synthesis of plasticizer, in the aviation oil for the synthesis of low temperature and high speed lubricating oil, electrolytic capacitor manufacturing and other important applications.
1. Applied in Industrial feilds Mainly used in the production of dioctyl azelate plasticizer, and also as a raw material for the production of spices, lubricants, oils, and polyamide resins.
2.Applied in food Industry
Azelaic acid has antibacterial properties and can be used as a food preservative.
3. Applied in Cosmetic products
1) Use in mouthwashes is beneficial to the prevention and treatment of dental caries, and use in soap can prevent the surface of soap from cracking.2) It has good permeability to the skin, and it can increase the absorption function of the skin when used in cream cosmetics.3) There are a variety of medicinal effects, which can be used in skin plasters.4) Rhododendronic acid or its zinc salt and vitamin B6 are used in hair care products, suitable for the helpment of male hormonal alopecia with strong endocrine in men, and stimulate hair growth at the same time.
