Product Cyclopentyl methyl ether 5614-37-9 is a new environmentally friendly high-performance hydrophobic ether solvent, called CPME, which can replace ether solvents such as tetrahydrofuran, methyltetrahydrofuran, methyl tert butyl ether, and dioxane. As a reaction solvent, it can be used for formic acid esterification reactions, coupling reactions, coupling amination reactions, metal reduction reactions, Lewis acid reactions, and Friedel Crafts reactions. It is also used for extraction, crystallization, surface treatment, and polymerization processes.
CPME (cyclopentyl methyl ether) is a new generation of hydrophobic ether solvents. It has excellent performance, such as low toxicity, antioxidant and explosion-proof, wide temperature and fluidity, and azeotropic properties with water. It can be widely used as a substitute for THF (tetrahydrofuran), replacing 2-MeTHF, diethyl ether, diisopropyl ether, methyl tert butyl ether, dioxane, and other ether solvents. It can also be used in drugs and chemicals, replacing halogenated hydrocarbons, ethyl acetate, toluene, and other conventional solvents.
