Product Description:
Water-based dispersant, also known as wetting dispersant, in addition to its wetting effect, one end of the active group can be adsorbed on the surface of the pigment crushed into fine particles, and the other end of the solvent enters the paint base to form an adsorption layer (the more the adsorption base, the longer the chain, the thicker the adsorption layer), resulting in charge repulsion (water-based paint) or entropy repulsion (solvent-based paint), so that the pigment particles are dispersed and suspended in the paint base for a long time. Avoid again flocculation, precipitation, aggregation, thus ensuring the storage stability of the color paint system.
1. Anionic wetting dispersant
Most of them are composed of non-polar negatively charged lipophilic hydrocarbon chain parts and polar hydrophilic groups, mainly including sodium polyacrylate, sodium polycarboxylate, polycarboxylate ammonium salt and other components of the dispersant, water-based dispersant, mainly composed of sodium polyacrylate, the water-based dispersant has excellent dispersion performance, and a small amount of addition can adjust the low viscosity. The stability of the coating is better than that of the viscosity of the slurry does not change.
In addition, the anionic dispersant has good compatibility and is widely used in water-based coatings and inks. Polycarboxylic acid polymers can also be used in solsol-based coatings and are widely used as controlled flocculation dispersants.
2.cationic wetting dispersant
Non-polar compounds with positive charge, mainly amine salts, quaternary amine salts, pyridinium salts and so on. Cationic surfactants have strong adsorption capacity and good dispersion effect on carbon black, various iron oxides and organic pigments, but it should be noted that they react with carboxyl groups in the base material, and do not use with anionic dispersants at the same time.
3. non-ionic wetting dispersant (YK-0720 is non-ionic wetting dispersant )
There is no ionization in water, no charge, and the adsorption on the surface of the pigment is relatively weak, mainly used in water paint. It is mainly divided into ethylene glycol and polyol types, which reduce surface tension and improve wettability. Used with anionic dispersant as wetting agent or emulsifier, it is widely used in water-based color paste, water-based paint and ink.
4. amphoteric wetting dispersant
Contains two or more polar groups. The typical application is the phosphate-type polymer. The high acid value of these polymers may affect the interlayer adhesion.
