Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is a second-generation non-sedating antihistamine, widely used for relieving allergic symptoms.

1. Core Mechanism

It is the active levorotatory isomer of cetirizine dihydrochloride.

Selectively antagonizes the H1 histamine receptor, blocking histamine-mediated allergic reactions without significant penetration of the blood-brain barrier.

2. Main Indications

Allergic rhinitis: Relieves sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, itchy nose and eyes.

Chronic idiopathic urticaria: Alleviates skin itching, wheals and other symptoms.

Other allergic skin conditions: Such as allergic dermatitis, pruritus, etc.
