I. Introduction
FRP-950X series is a flame retardant masterbatch with ultra-high red phosphorus content, mainly consisting of microencapsulated red phosphorus. Because of the high red phosphorus content, the additive volume in the plastic product is extremely small. Only 3%-5% flame retardant is added in the polymer composite material, the flame retardance can be up to UL94-V0 (T2.0mm).

Note: The specific additive amount, combined with the flame retardant requirements and formulations, add 1% ~ 1.5%, can also improve the flame retardant properties.
III. Product Feature
- High efficiency
Because of the high content of red phosphorus, low dosage adding will achieve high flame retardancy. For example, adding 3%-5% FRP-950X to PE, the flame retardancy will be V-0 at 2.0mm according to UL-94.
- Excellent mechanical property
Due to the low dosage needed to achieve UL-94 V0 grade (approx. 4.8-7.2% by weight as pure red phosphorus), they show low impact on mechanical properties.
- New carrier
We use a new type compatilizer as the carrier for microencapsulated red phosphorus, this is our exclusive technology in China.
- Extra small powder.
The average red phosphorus grain size is about 2500 mesh at D50.
- Ecological friendly: Non-halogen, reach RoHS and REACH requirement.
- Low moisture absorption.
- Easy handling.
- Very low migration and glooming.
- Can be used for printed circuit board.
IV. Package Storage & Transportation
1. Metal drum with inner PE bag, 18kg/drum.
2. Storage in cool dry place.
3. Transport as non-dangerous chemical product.
V. Application
It can be widely used for PE, HIPS, EPS, PPO, TPE, etc, especially suitable for wire and cable.
