2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin is a derivative of Beta Cyclodextrin in an alkaline environment. It is a white or off-white powder at room temperature.

2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin has a strong inclusion capacity and is an ideal cosolvent and stabilizer for guest substances, it is widely used in medicine and cosmetics.

1. Medical Field:

2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin can improve drug solubility, control drug release rate, reduce drug toxicity and side effects, enhance drug stability, and enhance the inclusion capacity of oil-soluble molecules. It is expected to be used to improve the bioavailability of various water-insoluble drugs.

2. Daily Chemical Field:

2,6-Dimethyl Beta Cyclodextrin(DM-β-CD) can reduce microbial contamination, keep the skin moist, mask bad odors, promote transdermal absorption of active ingredients, reduce skin irritation, etc. It can stabilize active ingredients and play a sustained release role, and increase the solubility of water-based ingredients.
