Applications

Ethylene glycol ethyl ether acetate serves as a solvent for resins, leather, inks, etc. When combined with other compounds, it functions as a leather adhesive, paint stripper, and corrosion-resistant coating for hot-dip galvanizing of metals. Primarily employed as a solvent for metal and furniture spray painting, brush-applied coatings, protective coatings, dyes, resins, leather, and inks. Also formulated in hard surface cleaners for metals and glass, and used as a chemical reagent. Ethylene glycol ether acetate (CAC) is a high-performance ester solvent.
