      Product Introduction


    C12-14 Alcohols (Lauryl-Myristyl Alcohol, CAS:80206-82-2,EINECS:279-420-3, HS Code:29051700) is a natural fatty alcohol blend consisting of approximately 70% lauryl alcohol (C12) and 30% myristyl alcohol (C14), produced via high-pressure catalytic hydrogenation of coconut oil or palm kernel oil methyl esters followed by distillation purification. Our industrial grade product strictly complies with international quality standards, featuring ≥99.0% total alcohol content and minimal impurities. It appears as a white waxy solid or clear liquid above 28°C, insoluble in water but miscible with most organic solvents. With balanced amphiphilic properties, excellent emulsifying, thickening and lubricating abilities, it is the most fundamental raw material for manufacturing anionic and nonionic surfactants, and is widely used in cosmetics, detergents and industrial additives industries.

    Packaging & Storage

Shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions.

    Safety Information
    Classified as UN 3077, Class 9 (Environmentally Hazardous Substance), Packing Group III for international transportation. Combustible solid/liquid; vapors may form explosive mixtures with air at high temperatures. May cause mild skin and eye irritation with prolonged contact. Operators should wear chemical-resistant gloves and goggles during handling. In case of skin/eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
