      Product Detail

Active Zinc Oxide (Activated Zinc Oxide), commonly abbreviated as Active ZnO, CAS 1314-13-2, EINECS 215-222-5, is a high-value functional inorganic chemical powder specially manufactured with advanced refined synthesis and surface activation technology. Different from conventional indirect and direct zinc oxide, our active zinc oxide features ultra-fine uniform particle distribution, ultra-large specific surface area, extremely high surface chemical activity, superior powder fluidity and excellent anti-agglomeration performance. The product appears as pure white super-fine powder with high whiteness, low impurity content, stable physical and chemical properties, and outstanding dispersion compatibility in both rubber polymer systems and feed premix formulations, making it a multi-functional essential industrial raw material widely applied in rubber manufacturing, animal feed processing, coatings, adhesives and fine chemical industries.
In the rubber industry, Active Zinc Oxide serves as the most core high-efficiency vulcanizing activator, reinforcing filler, heat stabilizer and anti-aging agent for natural rubber and all types of synthetic rubber including SBR, NBR, CR, EPDM and butyl rubber. Thanks to its highly activated molecular surface structure, it can significantly accelerate sulfur cross-linking reaction during rubber vulcanization, effectively shorten vulcanization time, improve vulcanization uniformity and increase cross-linking density of rubber molecular chains. Compared with ordinary zinc oxide, our high-activity ZnO can reduce the formula dosage by 20%–30% while maintaining or even improving rubber mechanical performance, greatly lowering overall production costs for rubber factories. After application, it remarkably enhances the tensile strength, tear resistance, abrasion resistance, elasticity and thermal aging resistance of finished rubber products, widely used in automobile tires, industrial conveyor belts, rubber hoses, sealing gaskets, rubber shoes, latex products and various molded rubber parts. In addition, it provides excellent thermal stability and ultraviolet shielding performance, effectively preventing rubber cracking, fading and performance degradation caused by long-term high-temperature use and outdoor sunlight exposure.
In the animal feed industry, our feed-grade Active Zinc Oxide is a high-purity, low-heavy-metal trace mineral zinc supplement designed specially for livestock and poultry breeding. Zinc is an indispensable micronutrient for animal growth, enzyme synthesis, immune system development and intestinal health metabolism. Our activated ZnO has higher biological absorption activity and dissolution efficiency than traditional zinc sources, effectively promoting animal growth rate, improving feed utilization rate, enhancing body immunity and disease resistance, and significantly reducing intestinal diarrhea and intestinal inflammation in piglets, poultry and ruminants. Strict production purification technology ensures ultra-low content of lead, cadmium, arsenic and other harmful heavy metals, fully complying with international feed safety standards and export inspection requirements, safe and reliable for long-term addition in animal feed formulas.
Beyond mainstream rubber and feed fields, Active Zinc Oxide also exhibits excellent multi-functional properties such as antibacterial, mildew-proof, corrosion-resistant and UV-blocking capacity. It can be used as functional additive for industrial coatings, water-based paints, adhesives, ceramic materials and plastic products, improving product hardness, weather resistance and surface antibacterial performance. Its stable alkaline property also enables it to neutralize acidic substances inside materials, delaying aging and extending product service life.
Our factory strictly implements full standardized quality control system for every batch of Active Zinc Oxide. We independently produce rubber-grade and feed-grade products with separate production lines to avoid cross-contamination. All raw materials are carefully screened, and finished products are strictly tested for ZnO purity, specific surface area, particle size distribution, whiteness, loss on ignition, moisture content and heavy metal residue indicators. The finished powder features stable batch consistency, no agglomeration, excellent dispersion and ultra-high activity, winning stable recognition from global industrial manufacturers.
For packaging and logistics, we adopt standard 25kg inner PE lined woven bag and 1000kg ton jumbo bag export packaging. This product belongs to general non-dangerous chemicals, safe and convenient for global sea, air and land transportation. We support small trial sample orders, medium batch procurement and long-term large-volume customized contract orders. Complete batch qualification documents including COA, MSDS and detailed test reports can be provided to support customer laboratory filing, quality inspection and international customs clearance.
With stable production capacity, sufficient spot inventory and competitive factory direct price, our high-quality Active Zinc Oxide has been continuously exported to Southeast Asia, Europe, America, Middle East and other global markets. We always adhere to high-standard product quality and professional after-sales service to provide customers with cost-effective and stable zinc oxide raw material solutions.

    Air and Water Reactions:

Slowly decomposed (hydrolyzed) in water. Insoluble in water.

    Reactive Group:

    Salts, Basic

    Reactivity Profile:

ZINC OXIDE is insoluble in water. What little solubility it has yields aqueous solutions that are neutral in pH. Intimate mixtures of zinc oxide and chlorinated rubber with or without hydrocarbons or chlorinated solvent react violently, even explosively upon heating [Chem. Trade J., 1962, 151, 672]. Slow addition of zinc oxide to cover the surface of linseed oil varnish caused generation of heat and ignition, [Chem. Trade J., 1933, 92, 278].

    Flammable Limits:

    Noncombustible Solid
