β-Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP⁺) is the phosphorylated form of NAD⁺ and a key coenzyme in anabolic pathways. It is supplied as a reference standard (HPLC≥90%) for biochemical research.

Synthetic Process
NADP⁺ is produced by the phosphorylation of NAD⁺ using NAD kinase, followed by purification.

Mechanism of Action
NADP⁺ functions as an electron acceptor in reductive biosynthesis (e.g., fatty acid synthesis, cholesterol synthesis, nucleotide synthesis) and in the pentose phosphate pathway. It is also a cofactor for glutathione reductase and cytochrome P450 systems.
