Substances that may promote blood sugar reduction and increase the incidence of hypoglycemia include: oral hypoglycemic drugs, ACE inhibitors, disopyramide, fibrates, fluoxetine, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, pentoxifylline, propoxyphene, salicylic acid, and sulfonamide antibiotics. 2. Substances that may weaken the hypoglycemic effect include: corticosteroids, danazol, diazoxide, diuretics, sympathomimetics (such as epinephrine, salbutamol, terbutaline), glucagon, isoniazid, phenothiazine derivatives, growth hormone, thyroid hormone, estrogen and progesterone (oral contraceptives). 3. Beta-receptor blockers, clonidine, lithium salts or alcohol may enhance or weaken the hypoglycemic effect of insulin. Pentamidine may cause hypoglycemia, sometimes with secondary hyperglycemia. 4. In addition, after taking drugs that affect the sympathetic nerves, such as beta-blockers, clonidine, guanethidine and reserpine, signs of adrenergic counter-regulation may be weakened or absent. 5. Contraindications: Do not mix insulin glargine injection with any other products. Make sure the syringe does not contain any other substances.
