Drug Function and Efficacy
This product belongs to the macrolide antibiotics, and its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of erythromycin, but its antibacterial effect is slightly weaker. It has good activity against Gram-positive bacteria and Neisseria. This product is not easy to induce bacterial resistance, and some erythromycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus can still be sensitive to this product. This product works by acting on the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, hindering the synthesis of bacterial proteins, and is a growth-stage antibacterial drug.
