Drug Function and Efficacy

It has a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including anaerobic bacteria, and its antibacterial activity is almost the same as that of imipenem; it is stable to beta-lactamase produced by various bacteria; it has a high affinity for penicillin-binding protein, which can hinder the synthesis of bacterial cell walls and thus play a bactericidal role.
