Molybdenum zinc oxide (MoZnO4) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Dry reaction method. Reaction equation: ZnO+MoO3→ZnMoO4 Operation method: First, talc powder filler with a particle size of 0.2~10μm is beaten in water, the filler content accounts for 80% of the total pigment, and then the specified amount of molybdenum trioxide is added. The zinc oxide powder is beaten with water at 70°C, and the total water consumption is 33% of the total pigment. After beating zinc oxide, the slurry is added to the talc slurry containing molybdenum trioxide. The molar ratio of zinc oxide to molybdenum trioxide is preferably 1:1 to 2:1. After the addition is complete, stir for 1h, filter with a filter press, filter cake is dried at 110 ℃, and ground, and then sent to the calcination furnace at 550 ℃ for 8h, after cooling the calcined material after crushing, packaging. The filler used can be changed in various ways, such as calcium carbonate, the production method is similar.
