1-Bromo-1-phenyl-2-propanone Use and Manufacturing
Put 40L benzene and 20L phenylacetone into a 100L glass-lined reactor. Keep the negative pressure in the pot (the vacuum degree is about 6.65kPa), add 8L bromine dropwise within 1h under stirring, keep the temperature below 30℃, after the bromination reaction, blow off the hydrogen bromide in the reaction liquid with dry air to obtain bromine 60-65L of benzene solution of phenylacetone. After removing the solvent benzene, the finished product is obtained.
Intermediate for rodenticides.
