Methods of Manufacturing

From 1-nitronaphthalene and hydroxylamine hydrochloride reaction. Dissolve 1-nitronaphthalene and hydroxylamine hydrochloride in 95% ethanol, slowly add potassium hydroxide methanol solution under heating and stirring. After the addition is complete, continue to stir for 1h, pour the reaction solution into ice water to precipitate 4-nitro -1-Naphthylamine, filter, wash the filter cake with water, and recrystallize in ethanol to obtain the finished product with a yield of about 55%.
