Sulfanitran Use and Manufacturing
General procedure: To a solution of the aniline 1a-l (1 eq) in pyridine (1.6 mL/mmol) was added4-acetamidobenzenesulfonyl chloride (1.1 eq), the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight, quenched with water and extracted three times with EtOAc. The combinedorganic layers were washed three times with 0.5 N HCl, three times with water and oncewith brine. The organic phase was then dried with anhydrous MgSO4, filtered, andconcentrated to give the title compound as a solid.
