Magnesium hydroxide Use and Manufacturing

Magnesium hydroxide is an excellent flame retardant for plastic and rubber products. As a flue gas desulfurizer in terms of environmental protection, it can replace caustic soda and lime as a neutralizer for acid-containing wastewater and an adsorbent for heavy metals. In addition, it can also be used in the electronics industry, medicine, sugar refining, heat preservation materials and other magnesium salt products.

Drug Function and Efficacy

Magnesium plays an important role in cellular metabolism, acts as a cofactor for many enzymes, regulates neuromuscular and central nervous system activities, relaxes peripheral blood vessels, inhibits the vasomotor center leading to vasodilation and blood pressure reduction, relieves smooth muscle spasms at high concentrations, blocks sympathetic ganglia, dilates renal vessels, increases diuresis, enhances uterine contraction effects of posterior pituitary hormones, and maintains electrolyte balance.

Famotidine Calcium Magnesium Chewable Tablets
Ingredients	Main ingredients: This product is a compound preparation, which consists of 10 mg of famotidine, 800 mg of calcium carbonate and 165 mg of magnesium hydroxide.
Indication	1. The famotidine in this product does not inhibit liver drug metabolizing enzymes and has no obvious interactions with other drugs. This product has a mild effect on the pharmacokinetics of theophylline, phenytoin sodium, warfarin, nifedipine and diazepam, but does not affect the distribution of procainamide in the body; 2. Ingredients	This product is a compound preparation, each 10ml contains 0.2g of aluminum hydroxide (calculated as Al2O3) and 0.4g of magnesium hydroxide.
Indication	1. This product contains aluminum ions and should not be used with tetracycline; 2. This product may interfere with the absorption and elimination of digoxin, warfarin, dicoumarol, chlorpromazine, propranolol, indomethacin, isoniazid, vitamins and barbiturates, affecting the efficacy of the above drugs, and should be avoided from simultaneous use; 3. When used in combination with cimetidine, ranitidine, etc., it can reduce the absorption of drugs such as cimetidine, and should generally be taken after 1 hour; 4. If this product is used simultaneously with other drugs, drug interactions may occur. Please consult a physician for details.
