Direct Blue 199 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Take copper phthalocyanine as raw material. Firstly, the copper phthalocyanine is reacted with chlorosulfonic acid, then thionyl chloride is added, and the temperature is raised to obtain the product of the copper phthalocyanine partially sulfonated and chlorosulfonated. Then, sodium bicarbonate, ammonia water and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution are added sequentially to complete the neutralization process to obtain the product. The finished product is obtained by salting out, filtering, drying and crushing. Add 100g of chlorosulfonic acid to the reaction flask, heat up to 50°C, slowly add 20g of copper phthalocyanine under stirring, continue the reaction for 1h, then heat up to 100°C to continue the reaction for 12h, and add an appropriate amount of dried sodium chloride. When the reaction reaches the end point, the reaction solution is poured into ice water, filtered, and washed with ice water. Then put the filter cake into ammonia water for beating, and react at 20°C for 1 hour, then heat to 50°C for 2 hours, add sodium carbonate to maintain pH=8-9, after the reaction is completed, vacuum dry at 80°C to obtain the product.

Uses

Direct light fast green FBL is used for dyeing cotton and viscose fibers, and can also be used for dyeing hemp, silk and nylon. Bright color and high fastness.
