The methanol market has entered a rebound stage.
The main consumption areas of methanol are in northwest China and east China, and the main consumption areas are coal/methanol to olefin.In 2019, coal/methanol to olefin accounted for 52.63% of the total methanol consumption. As the largest downstream, the operation dynamics of coal/methanol to olefin unit have an important impact on the market.In early April, the olefin unit of zhejiang xingxing new energy technology co., LTD., which was harvested methanol from abroad, returned to work and the demand for methanol increased.
