Produce 231 pieces per second! BYD becomes the world's largest mask manufacturer
With the spread of overseas epidemics, the number of confirmed cases worldwide has grown rapidly. As an effective medical protective equipment mask, it has become a tight resource, and it has become "a hard to find one."
At the beginning of the outbreak, BYD, a car company that quickly switched to masks, has dramatically increased its mask production capacity as the global epidemic changes.
According to the official introduction of BYD, as of April 17, the daily output of BYD masks has reached 20 million, which is equivalent to 231 masks off the production line of BYD masks per second.
At present, BYD Group has built 300 mask production lines. Due to the need for epidemic prevention and control at home and abroad, it is still increasing production at a rate of 1 million to 2 million masks per day.
In addition, BYD has become the "largest mask manufacturer in the world" in addition to being a leading domestic new energy vehicle company.
Nowadays, after meeting domestic demand, BYD masks also begin to export to the world. Last week, California and BYD signed a huge mask order worth US $ 1 billion (about 7 billion yuan). BYD supplies approximately 200 million masks to California each month, most of which are N95 masks with a higher protection level.
In addition, in the beginning of this month, Japan's richest man and founder of Softbank Sun Zhengyi announced that he had reached a cooperation agreement with China's BYD, and began to supply 300 million masks to the Japanese market in May.
Wang Chuanfu stepped down as Changsha BYD legal person and withdrew from executive list
Qixinbao data shows that on April 20, Changsha BYD's industrial and commercial changes occurred, and BYD chairman Wang Chuanfu no longer served as the legal representative of Changsha BYD, and was replaced by BYD vice president He Zhiqi. At the same time, the senior management of BYD in Changsha also changed. Wang Chuanfu, Wu Jingsheng and Duan Wei withdrew from the list of senior executives, adding new executives He Zhiqi and Zhou Yalin.
