Laird Superfood receives Danone's $ 10 million investment
American natural plant-based food company Laird Superfood received a $ 10 million investment from the Danone Manifest venture capital arm of French Danone SA.
The company will use the funds to expand its plant-based product platform and expand its manufacturing facility in Sister, Oregon.
Laird Superfood was founded in 2015 and focuses on providing creamers made from mushrooms and other functional ingredients, as well as coffee, coconut water and coconut sugar.
