Israeli Chemicals signs contract with Chinese company to supply potassium carbon

ECHEMI 2020-05-09

Special minerals and chemicals company Israel Chemical Group (ICL) announced that it has signed multiple contracts with its Chinese customers to supply the latter with a total of 910,000 tons of potassium carbonate by the end of 2020.

The contracts also include an additional two-way option with a supply of 490,000 tons.

The price stipulated in the contract is US $ 70 per ton, which is lower than the previous contract price, but it is consistent with the recent contract price in China.

The Israel Chemical Group and its Chinese customers signed a three-year framework agreement in 2018. The above-mentioned contracts are part of these agreements.
