The economic aggregate of the carbon black industry declines in 2019
According to the Carbon Black Branch of China Rubber Industry Association, the total economic indicators of the domestic carbon black industry will decline in 2019. According to the statistics of the Carbon Black Branch, 21.21% of the 33 major member companies are at a loss, with a loss of 237 million yuan.
The total carbon black output of key member companies in 2019 was 4.43 million tons, down 1.93% from the previous year (year-on-year). Among them, the output of wet granulated carbon black was 4.39 million tons, a decrease of 1.57%; the output of dry granulated carbon black was 36,000 tons. A total of 4.44 million tons of carbon black was sold throughout the year, basically the same as the previous year.
The main business income of key member companies in 2019 decreased by 12.48%. The sales price of carbon black has dropped somewhat due to various factors such as market factors, increased production capacity and raw material prices. In 2019, the carbon black industry suffered losses and realized a profit of -95 million yuan.
According to the statistics of the Carbon Black Branch of the China Rubber Association, the national export of carbon black decreased by 12.11% in 2019; the export value decreased by 20.91%.
