The value added of the manufacturing of chemical raw materials and products rose 9.8 per cent year on year in October
The value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 5.0% year-on-year and 0.33% month-on-month in October, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Nov. 15. Among them, the added value of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing increased by 9.8% year-on-year.
In October, mining added value rose 4.0 per cent year on year, manufacturing 5.2 per cent and electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply 4.0 per cent.
By economic type, in October, the added value of state-owned enterprises increased by 4.4% year on year; The growth rate of joint-stock enterprises was 5.9%, and that of foreign-invested enterprises and those invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises was 2.0%. Private companies grew 3.1 percent.
In October, 26 out of 41 major categories of industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value. That of the agricultural and sideline food processing industry decreased by 2.0 percent; the manufacturing of wine, beverages and refined tea increased by 1.5 percent; the textile industry decreased by 4.2 percent; the manufacturing of chemical raw materials and chemical products increased by 9.8 percent; and the manufacturing of non-metallic mineral products increased by 3.1 percent. The growth of ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry was 10.2 percent, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry 6.8 percent, general equipment manufacturing 2.0 percent, special equipment manufacturing 3.0 percent, automobile manufacturing 18.7 percent, and railway, shipping, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing 0.5 percent. The manufacturing of electrical machinery and equipment grew by 16.3 percent, the manufacturing of computers, communications and other electronic equipment grew by 9.4 percent, and the production and supply of electricity and heat increased by 4.1 percent.
By product, 291 out of 617 products saw their output increase year on year in October. 114.85 million tons of steel, up 11.3% year on year; 203.84 million tons of cement, up 0.4%; 5.85 million tons of non-ferrous metals, up 10.1%; 2.61 million tons of ethylene, up 5.5%; The number of automobiles reached 2.59 million, an increase of 8.6%, of which 752,000 were new-energy vehicles, an increase of 84.8%; Electricity generation was 661 billion KWH, up 1.3 percent; Crude oil processed 58.62 million tons, up 0.8 percent.
In October, the sales rate of industrial enterprises was 96.6 percent, down 0.7 percentage points year on year. Industrial enterprises achieved export delivery value of 1,312 billion yuan, a nominal growth of 2.5 percent year-on-year.
From January to October, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.0 percent year-on-year. Among them, the added value of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing increased by 5.6% year-on-year.
