Sika successfully places $319 million bond
Sika AG has successfully placed a bond with a total amount of CHF 300 million ($ 319.09 million) through a double tranche. The payment date of the bonds is 27 March 2018.
The bonds were placed under the lead management of UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG. They will be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The net proceeds of the transaction will be used to support the growth strategy of Sika, to serve the company’s long?term, general financing, and for acquisitions.
CHF 160 million bond 2018-2020 with a floating interest rate based on 3-month CHF LIBOR, paid quarterly. There is a minimum interest rate of 0.00 percent and a maximum interest rate of 0.05 percent. The bond was issued at 100.602 percent which reflects a yield at launch of -0.30 percent.
CHF 140 million bond 2018-2026 with a fixed coupon of 0.60 percent per annum. The bond was issued at 100.351 percent which reflects a yield of 0.555 percent.
