Nippon China has successfully developed anti-viral coil coatings with a virus inactivation rate of over 99%
Recently, Nippon China has successfully developed anti-virus coatings for the coil steel industry using special virus suppression technology. The products are mainly used in the field of construction and home appliances. According to the virus inactivation test conducted by a third-party testing organization with reference to ISO 21702:2019, the anti-viral coil coating newly developed by Nippon Paper against the H1N1 virus has an inactivation rate of more than 99%. This experiment proves that the product is in 24 hours It can kill more than 99% of H1N1 virus. The H1N1 influenza virus and coronavirus are both enveloped viruses, which broke out in the United States in 2009 and spread worldwide.
At present, Nippon coil coatings are widely used in household appliances and various buildings, such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, color TVs and other home appliance shells, security doors, clean rooms, interior decoration, hospitals and stations and other architectural fields. Nippon Anti-Virus Coil Coating is applied to these places where people often come into contact, so that the virus will be killed when it stays on its surface, blocking the way of virus transmission, greatly reducing the potential risk of virus transmission.

It is reported that the surface coating of Nippon Paint Anti-Virus Paint has the function of killing viruses. According to the test, the coating of this product can inactivate >99.9% of cat calicivirus. At the same time, this coating can effectively fight against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa with an antibacterial rate of >99.99%.
