Algeria's red tuna quota will increase to 2,023 tonnes in 2023
On December 8, 2022, the Afghan fisheries minister announced in response to questions from lawmakers in parliament that the quota for red tuna in the 2023 fishing season will increase to 2,023 tons, compared to 1,650 tons in 2022, Algerian news agency reported. This decision was taken at the most recent meeting of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas, held in Grapetooth in November.
