Chinese Titanium Dioxide Market Moved Stably This Week (Mar 16-22, 2018)
Chinese rutile titanium dioxide market continued being stable this week. Up to March 22, 2018, mainstream negotiation prices were in the range of RMB 15,600-17,800/mt. The average price was RMB 16,635/mt, unchanged from last week. Producers held stable offers and the overall operating rate was stable. Though the downstream demand was modest, titanium dioxide producers were positive about the market.

The anatase Titanium Dioxide market remained stable this week. Up to March 22, 2018, reference prices for Chinese anatase titanium dioxide were in the range of RMB 13,000-14,800/mt. The average price was RMB 14,025/mt, unchanged from last week. The operating rate in anatase Titanium Dioxide market was stable. The downstream demand was flat.

Forecast:
Currently, some Chinese producers’ offers are stable and few producers raise their offers. The overall market is stable. The downstream continue to be weak. It is predicted that the Chinese titanium dioxide market will be stable next week.
