China Paint's output fell by 5.4% in the first half of this year
From January to June 2020, China's total paint output fell by 5.4% year-on-year, and the industry showed a strong recovery trend.
From January to June 2020, China’s total paint output fell by 5.4% year-on-year, down by 9.4% year-on-year from January to May, and down by 22.8% year-on-year from January to March, showing a strong recovery trend. From January to May, China's paint industry Main business revenue fell 14.9% year-on-year, total profit fell 19.4% year-on-year, and the main business revenue from January to March fell 26.5% year-on-year, and total profit fell 56% year-on-year.
According to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics, the total output of enterprises above designated size in China's coatings industry from January to June 2019 was 9.64 million tons. Based on a year-on-year decrease of 5.4%, the total output of enterprises above designated size in China's coatings industry from January to June 2020 is 9.12 million tons.
