Q: We know that Bloomage Biotech is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of sodium hyaluronate. Could you please briefly introduce Bloomage Biotech and reveal your company's recent developments?

A: First of all, I am honored to participate in this year's PCHi Summit. As one of the earliest companies in China that started the production of Hyaluronic Acid by fermentation, Bloomage Biotech took the Lead in realizing the breakthrough in the industrialization of hyaluronic acid microbial fermentation technology, and changed my country's production of hyaluronic acid by animal tissue extraction and mainly relying on imports. Lagging behind, the company has become the world's leading hyaluronic acid research and development and production base. Although Bloomage Biotechnology started with hyaluronic acid, our fermentation platform has also produced a lot of biologically active substances, such as the products involved today such as thioneine and ectoine, which are all right Biological tissue cells are very friendly ingredients. The successful listing of the company last year was an affirmation of Bloomage Biotech and the starting point for a new journey.

Many changes have taken place in the company recently. For example, our third factory in Tianjin is under intense construction and is expected to be put into operation next year. After completion, the production capacity of hyaluronic acid will not only increase, but the production capacity of other bioactive substances will also increase; June , Our second plant in Jinan has not only passed the “green factory” certification, but also established the world’s first hyaluronic acid museum, which provides a panoramic view of the development path and results of the hyaluronic acid industry; in addition, our enzyme digestion method produces low molecular weight The hyaluronic acid patent also won the China Patent Gold Award, and the ergothione mushroom extract won the PCHi Fangdian Award. Q: Bloomage is already highly specialized in the R&D and production of sodium hyaluronate, and it is also a veritable leading enterprise in China. We can see that there are many applications of products in cosmetics and medical products. What are the latest products? What are its characteristics and highlights?

 

A: The latest product should be the thionein pine mushroom extract. This product is obtained by the combined fermentation of two fungi. The fermentation yield of thionein is much higher than the industry average. This product has a unique mechanism of action and outstanding antioxidant effects. In addition, ergothione is very water-soluble, very stable, and has no special requirements for temperature and pH, and it is easy to add to the formula. This is the unique difference from other Antioxidants.

 

 

Q: In addition to sodium hyaluronate, Bloomage Biotech also produces other extracts and health food materials. Among them, do you think your company’s fermented extracts have any characteristics that attract consumers when they are launched on the market?

 

A: Fermentation actives are a kind of biologically derived actives, which are very safe in both cosmetic applications and health food applications. In addition to many years of experience in fermentation technology and market promotion, Bloomage also has strong efficacy evaluation capabilities. The safety and efficacy data of each of our fermentation actives are supported by test data, which also fits the current new regulations. Claim. We not only produce good active substances, but also provide excellent technical support, which is our advantage. In the future, we will focus on this field, and further expand new products.

 

 

Q: We know that Bloomage Biotech pays special attention to the investment in innovative research and development. Among them, hyaluronic acid also has many innovative applications, thus forming the company's proud core competitiveness. So what are Bloomage's current innovation projects, can you introduce it to us?

 

 

A: I think this question can be answered from two aspects. One is the field of hyaluronic acid. In the future, we will further improve the level of fermentation technology to improve production efficiency. At the same time, we will also develop hyaluronic acid derivatives; the other is In the field of fermentation active substances, we will get involved in micro-ecology and fermentation research of characteristic plants.
