Masterbatch Firm, Alok, Appoints New VP-Technology
Leading masterbatch maker, Alok, has announced the appointment of Dr. Nitin Joshi as Vice President-Technology.
“An IIT graduate and a Ph.D. holder from UDCT, Dr. Joshi has 25 years of experience within product development, R&D, regulatory affairs and quality control. He will play a key role in helping Alok’s customers navigate the various national & international regulatory norms and provide them assistance in enhanced analytical and forensic testing,” said a press note released on the occasion.
Dr. Joshi has an expertise in international regulatory affairs such as REACH, RoHS, migration studies, and drug master file applications and proficiency in heading the testing laboratory at Reliance Product Application & Research Centre (PARC). He has developed specialised thermal tests for polymer and additive analysis and established spectroscopic calibration curves, Alok informed.
Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Joshi said, “Alok has been at the forefront of innovation in the masterbatch industry and ATIC has been the birthplace for many of its pathbreaking solutions. I am very excited to join them at this inflection point in their journey. It provides me a brilliant opportunity to get involved with various aspects of creating solutions and participate in the company’s growth journey.” Alok Technology Innovation Centre (ATIC) located in New Delhi is touted to be India’s first R&D lab for masterbatches.
