BB-1709 for injection was approved for clinical practice
On January 28, 2023, Bristiscon Biopharmaceutical (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. reported that the clinical trial application (IND) of BB-1709, the company's anti-tumor class 1 new drug antibody conjugate (ADC) BB-1709 was approved by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China (acceptance number: CXSL2200580). BB-1709 is a first-in-class innovative immunosuppressive target ADC with a wide range of solid tumor indications and global competitive potential. At the end of October 2022, BB-1709 has received FDA Phase I clinical trial approval in the United States. So far, Brixcon has three innovative ADCs in the clinical stage.
With a number of innovative drugs entering the clinic, the company has built a research and development site of more than 10,000 m² and a GMP production base that meets international standards in Hangzhou Pharmaceutical Port Town, which can meet the clinical batch and early marketing production needs of macromolecule innovative drugs. With the joint efforts of the Brix Scone team, BB-1709 is the company's first antibody and ADC stock solution completely in the self-built factory to complete the production project. The company has now built an international team to accelerate the application process, clinical research and commercialization of international innovative drug projects while continuously enriching the early R&D pipeline.
