On January 28, the Economic Work Conference of the Economic Municipal Committee of Foshan Municipal Party Committee was held. At the meeting, Foshan signed 20 major projects with a total investment of 144.5 billion yuan. Among them is the "Global Ecological Intelligent Headquarters Project with a total investment of 2 billion yuan".

The day after the project was signed (January 29), Foshan City held a groundbreaking event for major projects in 2023. 20 major projects in Shunde, such as the "Meitushi Global Ecological Intelligent Headquarters Project", have started construction, with a total investment of about 19.634 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 2.352 billion yuan.

According to public information, the global ecological intelligent headquarters project is invested and constructed by Guangdong Metushi Building Materials Co., Ltd., with a total planned investment of 2.01 billion yuan and an area of 204.54 mu, and plans to establish the global ecological intelligent headquarters of Meitushi to create a new specialized and special new waterborne coating advanced material production base to realize automated and intelligent production. The construction period of the project is from 2023 to 2028, and the project start time is March 2023.

In addition, the project of "Xingtan Headquarters and 4.0 Intelligent Future Factory of Guangdong Meitushi Building Materials Co., Ltd. was selected as the list of key construction projects in Guangdong Province in 2023, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, and a planned investment of 280 million yuan in 2023, and the construction content and scale are to establish Meitushi headquarters and future factories, and the construction period is from 2023 to 2026.
