China Bureau of Statistics: oil processing industry profit up 148% in August
China Bureau of Statistics: looking at specific industries, profit growth accelerated in petroleum processing, iron and steel and other industries under the effect of downstream demand improvement, product price recovery and low base in the same period. In August, the petroleum processing industry profit rose 148.2% year-on-year, accelerating by 101.6 percentage points from July, and the accumulated profit for the first time during the year; iron and steel industry profit rose 68.3%, accelerating by 46.2 percentage points.
