India: Petronet LNG Eyes First-Ever Overseas Project
Petronet LNG will soon assess the option of entering the overseas gas exploration and production segment. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 16th International Energy Forum in New Delhi recently, Mr. Prabhat Singh, Managing Director and CEO of Petronet LNG, said, “We are going to study the data for a natural gas exploration and production project with ONGC Videsh in Qatar.” He said the company will look to pick up a stake in an upcoming exploration and liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Qatar.
