An oil storage tank explosion occurred in a residential area of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on the 9th, killing at least four people and injuring dozens of others.

According to Lebanese media reports, around 20:00 local time on the 9th, an oil storage tank exploded in a high-rise bakery in a residential area of Beirut, causing a fire. Lebanese civil defense and fire department personnel rushed to the scene to put out the fire and used fire-fighting ladders to evacuate the residents in the building. The Lebanese military blocked the surrounding area.
