Statistics of import and export of petrochemical industry from January to August
From January to August 2020, the total trade volume of the petroleum and chemical industry was US$417.74 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 12.7%. Among them, the import trade volume was US$282.45 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 13.7%; the export trade volume reached US$135.29 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.6%; the trade deficit was US$147.16 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 16.3%.
In terms of industries, from January to August, the total trade volume of the oil and gas industry was US$149.13 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 19.7%; the total trade volume of petroleum processing and petroleum products was US$38.76 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 16.3%; the total trade volume of chemical products was 2179.5 Billion US dollars, down 6.6% year-on-year; total trade in special equipment was 11.90 billion US dollars, down 4.2% year-on-year.
