With a total investment of 590 million yuan, another degradable project of Mek Chemical has been started!
On February 25, Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Development Zone) held a ceremony for the resumption of major projects in the first quarter of 2023.
Among them, Mak Chemical annual output of 60,000 tons of PBAT project started construction, a total investment of 590 million yuan. After the project is put into operation, the annual operating revenue is about 1.1 billion yuan, the tax paid is about 58 million yuan, and about 80 jobs can be provided.
At present, the Phase IV project of Meco Chemical is under construction with 100,000 tons/year BDO and the Phase V project of 240,000 tons/year formaldehyde plant, with a total investment of 2.686 billion yuan; After the project is put into operation, the annual operating revenue is about 2.5 billion yuan, the tax paid is about 144 million yuan, and about 260 jobs are added.
Meco Chemical Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of petroleum and natural gas chemical products. At present, the company has built an annual production capacity of 270,000 tons of 1, 4-butanediol, 620,000 tons of formaldehyde, 160,000 tons of methanol, 50,000 tons of polytetrahydrofuran (PTHF), as well as 125MW cogeneration units, utility equipment and auxiliary engineering. It is the largest BDO professional supplier in China and the third largest in the world.
