The project 1200 t/a 2,6-Difluorobenzamide an 200 t/a2, 2,6-Difluorobenzonitrile is planned to be built

2023-04-19

Recently, Yongchun, according to the market demand and raw material supply advantages, plans to develop new product categories, enhance market competitiveness.

In April 2021, Yongchun Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. plans to invest 50 million yuan in the existing plant to build Yongchun’s annual output of 800 tons of 2-Trifluoromethylbenzoyl chloride series products, 1,500 tons of 2,6-Difluorobenzamide series products, 500 tons of t-Butyldimethylchlorosilane, 500 tons of Methyl 3-amino-2-bromo-5-fluorobenzoat and other products. The project has obtained the Fujian Provincial Investment Project Record Certificate in April 2021 ([2021] H020023).

2-Trifluoromethylbenzoyl chloride is an intermediate of the Flutolanil, an endogenic fungicide used to control diseases caused by certain Basidiomycetes and Rhizoctonia solani caused by Rhizoctonia. 2-Trifluoromethylbenzoyl chloride is an important intermediate in the synthesis of fluorinated herbicides.

2,6-Difluorobenzamide is an important intermediate in the process of synthesis of Benzoylurea insecticides. It is used to synthesize the next intermediate, 2,6-Difluorobenzoyl isocyanate, and finally to obtain Hexaflumuron, Diflubenzuron, Chlorfluazuron, Lufenuron and other pesticide varieties. 2,6-Difluorobenzamide is directly used in the synthesis of Diflubenzuron and Hexaflumuron. 2, 6-difluoronitrile is a new pesticide intermediate, which is a specific insect growth regulator. It is an essential intermediate of benzoamide pesticides such as difenuron and difenuron.

2,6-Difluorobenzonitrile is also an important pesticide intermediate for the production of the herbicide Diflubenzuron and Chlorfluazuron. 2,6-Difluoroaniline is an important chemical intermediate, which is one of the important intermediates in the synthesis of Prothioconazole
