May 5, the nuclear titanium white announcement, said the company and Xinjiang Hami City people's government signed a framework agreement to attract investment. With the support of Hami Municipal Government, Sinonuclear Titanium White will invest 1.2 billion yuan in a new subsidiary in Hami to construct a project of comprehensive utilization of tailing slag and low-grade vanadium titanium magnetite in Hami. The construction scale of the project is to produce 600,000 tons of titanium concentrate and 700,000 tons of iron concentrate powder annually. Party A shall coordinate to meet the comprehensive utilization of vanadium titanium magnetite, water, electricity, land and other resources of the project.
According to the People's government of Hami City, the local investment of Sinonuclear titanium dioxide will further promote the efficient and comprehensive utilization of the city's mineral resources, especially vanadium and titanium resources, drive the high-quality development of vanadium and titanium related industries, and strive to achieve a new level of regional economy. Sinonuclear Titanium Dioxide hopes to rely on the rich vanadium and titanium resources in Hami city to build vanadium and titanium industry cluster, promote the high-quality development of vanadium and titanium industry in Hami city, and achieve win-win cooperation between government and enterprise.
China Titanium Dioxide will integrate mining and mineral processing enterprises in Weiya region, and carry out the investment and construction of green mine and smart mine. In addition to the construction scale of 600 thousand tons of titanium concentrate and 700 thousand tons of iron concentrate powder per year, Sinocore Titanium White will also carry out vanadium investment related industry chain in Hami area.
The framework agreement signed between Sinonuclear Titanium Dioxide and Hami Municipal Government is actually a measure of the company's placement in the resource business sector, aiming at efficiently promoting the investment projects under the framework agreement through government-enterprise cooperation. After the completion of the above-mentioned investment project, the annual production capacity of 600 thousand tons of titanium concentrate will be formed for the company to form a high degree of self-sufficiency in the supply of the main raw materials of titanium dioxide, build a vertically integrated industrial chain, and further strengthen the company's core competitiveness and profitability.
