Limin Stock issued an announcement on May 9 that, recently, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Hebei Weiyuan has obtained the "Enterprise Investment Project Record information" [Recorde No. : Petrochemical Investment Review (2023) No. 3] issued by the Circulation Chemical Industry Park Branch of the Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau of Shijiazhuang High-tech Zone.

The announcement said that in order to further consolidate and strengthen the company's product advantages, enhance the company's core competitiveness, expand the existing advantageous varieties, according to the development strategy of Limin Stock, Weiyuan Biochemical plans to invest in the construction of this project, the project name is the construction project with 10,000 t/a Glufosinate-p. The project plans to invest 33,065.27 million yuan. After completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of Glufosinate-p

Previously, on June 14, 2022, Weiyuan Biochemistry, a subsidiary of Limin Stock, and Zheng Yuguo, academician of Institute of Bioengineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, signed an agreement on the transfer of technology for the industrial production of Glufosinate-p. This technology uses synthetic biology and enzyme catalysis technology to prepare highly efficient Glufosinate-p. The process is green and efficient, highly conforms to the company's Glufosinate technical process, and has specificity and high technical compatibility. The introduction of this technology has further expanded Limin's outstanding advantages in the field of "biology + chemistry", and laid a solid technical foundation for the development of Glufosinate and Glufosinate-p industries.
